Gasifer, I think im going to owe you them pics. After bringing wood into the house in preparation for the big snow expected tomorrow we ransacked that food. I was lucky to get the pics of the steaks before my son jumped on it like a hungry lion. Im not 100% sure but i think i heard him growling as he was tearing into it. 12 year old swimmer - soccer player eats everything in sight. LOL>

Rottiman, he drinks a gallon of milk in 1.5 days and 6 eggo waffles in each sitting and he has two sittings a day. LOL. There are days that he has 5am swim practice, goes to school then has practice again at 3 and then soccer practice at 6. His choice, I will only intervene if his grades start to slip.

Just so we're clear, those are NY strips, aren't they?
Porterhouse looks like an oversized t-bone.
    Those are good too.
First steak I remember eating as a kid was at a very good restaurant, and I got a 16 oz. porterhouse. Ate it all.

Yes Dave they are. they came as part of a Christmas present from my Pa. he is funny like that, he likes to give practical gifts. One year he gave me a set of tires for my car and inner tubes for my road bike. Back when tires had tubes. This year it was steaks, inner soles for my boots and bar oil, He's the best. lol.

Good for him. Sounds like you instilled the right drive in him. Nothing wrong with a healthy dose of sports for sure.
