Bob, that looks like something you should be saving for the indoor stove! But sure can be nice having a stove like that outdoors.

Burning pressure treated is a no-no, even outside.

The Amish around here burn trash and whatever else they feel like. That little bit of pressure treated wood is minor. .

Little bit of reading for you in case you are really interested.

Seasonal Arsenic Exposure From Burning Chromium-Copper-Arsenate-Treated Wood

Doesn't seem like it's worth it to me. I personally wouldn't be any where near burning pressure treated.

Yea, those people are stupid, period. " For four years the five-room home had been heated with a small wood stove in which outdoor or marine plywood and wood remnants had been preferentially burned. " Really, burning marine grade treated plywood indoors, STUPID. Around here the Amish burn their used batteries in open pits or in a burn barrel.... talk about any of the above mentioned heavy metals plus mercury and a number ofotheres.

Tonight with my brother and sister in law. The trash stove is taking care of some carpenter ant infested black locust.

neighbor's father is down south. on a visit to dad he finds the old guy and his new wife making hamburgers on the grill over small chunks of burning PT scraps. he wouldn't eat the food of course. the father and step mother liked it just fine.
there seems to be some division of opinion on PT toxicity. his dad btw was famous for decades for being a sensitive guy, or the lack thereof.

Does not make burning pressure treated wood okay. Hope the smoke trolls don't see this.

Now, what's up with the stove?
I can't imagine after only two seasons that the stove manufacturer would not do something about it...???
