    Pellet heads, do all pellet stoves have 2 blowers, one combustion, and the second room blower? Is the combustion blower also the exhaust blower? Was thinking about an FAQ Q&A

    On the Ecoteck stove here, yes - one room air fan blower, one combustion (aka exhaust) blower. Same on the Englander 25 PDVC stove also. * But that may not apply to -all- stoves, still a Newbie here.

    Combustion blower is also known as the exhaust blower. Some stoves have one blower that is the combustion blower and convection blower, cannot remember which ones though. I believe they were older models mostly. Someone else may chime in with the answer.

    These are basically exceptions. Might also be a few more older models that I don't remember.

    Snowy Rivers was just talking about a Whitfield that used natural draft.

    Another was the Breckwell Monticello which is gravity feed and natural draft. Requires no electricity to run.

    Osborn has a stove called the Hybrid that has 2 combustion blowers(one drawing OAK air in and the other forcing exhaust air out). They call it COMBEX technology or something like that.

    Ordered a 5 Gallon, 2HP Shop Vac from Walmart for $19.99 online last night, s/b in the store for pickup Mon/Tues. next week.

    Nice little vac, it really sucks :D but louder than sin - makes a jet spooling up a turbine seem quiet. :bug: (Dunno if it's still available @ that price.)
    Will be a 'backup' (aka Man Cave) vac to the one currently setup for Pellet Stove duty.
