Wood Stain Help

    Going to be installing white pine t+g paneling.i have these.....should i use the pickled oak or just the clear or both....its just alot more work if i do both on a couple hundred 12 footers IMG_0258.JPG IMG_0259.JPG

    personally the decision would come down to how much light is in the room and how much you want it to darken over time. polyurethane will darken more than the stain good luck let us know:yes:

    Are you looking for a darker color change of the pine?

    Water based poly is pretty clear and does not change the color of the wood much.

    I like oil based minwax poly. It has an amber finish.

    im lookin to avoid it darkening,i know it will,trying to keep it to a minimum

    Find a clear water based poly with UV protection... only thing I have found to slow it down

    I don't like water based stuff. Raises the grain too much.
