Good to know. I always imagine what a good carving knife would be like. Gonna file this one in the old noggin in case I come across a good deal.

 

Still can't start that dang snowblower. It's getting old! Last time my brother came over and pulled the rope twice and it fired. I don't get it. All I know is I followed the instructions on the machine and I smell gas so it's probably flooded now.

 

Got the think flooded, it needed more gas I guess-- directly in the plug hole

 

Well, bright sunny day and the temp. has locked in on a high of -22.4. Just finished a late lunch including shrimp and clams. Jumping between the LSU/Iowa game and the Carolina/Wisc. game. HAPPY,HAPPY.........HAPPY.

 

Unhappy about the Iowa/LSU game so far.

 

Yeah, Iowa needs to step it up for sure.

 

Hoping to see some offence in the second half.

 

Takin' down the tree.. gettin' the Fireview started again, and cranking up the Tom Rush 50th Anniversary Concert at Boston Symphony Hall. I was at this last year.. Tom Rush, David Bromberg, Johnathan Edwards and a whole host of other folk legends.

You ever been in that little knife shop and kitchen supply next to the train depot in North Conway? They have a great selection of knives of all types there. I go up to bike week and always end up there and buy something.

 

I don't care who you are. That is fricken funny.

 

Worked the Holiday today. Made some of the extra bean dip to off set Christmas spending. I have to bring more wood in tonight! Jeesh, going to be ready for bed by 9. Wait. I have the next four days off. Might have to have a beer. And maybe one of those Grey Goose mixed drinks I told you guys about.

 

I like all of that except the temps.. but you're talking Celcius? (that's still -10F!) Keep the stoves fed!!

17F here (-8C) and 6-12 inches starting tomorrow, with some high winds, which means big drifting. The Sour Dough French Toast has me hungry!!

I ride my motorcycle up in the White Mountains and there is this truck stop where 91 cross 302 just south of St Johnsbury Vermont. They make homeade bread there and their French Toast is to die for. Menus are in French and English.

Hey OH, I am from Revere-right next to Lynn. Spent alot of time in the City of Sin before moving to NH in '92

 

I know the train depot but not the kitchen supply. Will have to check that out. I have taken the 5 hour train ride (great escape if you have not done it) a few times, but I dont stop in N Conway much...too many tourists for me during the summer.

2 degrees out so I convinced my wife to go with me for a walk with the dogs. When we got back she had icicles on her eyelashes!
