I just scanned this thread real quick but if I get the drift it has something to do with Bogy saying Papadave is ugly and should be saved by the stack because he has a lot of air space.....is that about right ?

Papa dave said BTU I thought he said BUTT
I turned around to look, saw my butt ugly reflection in the water puddle looking back at me.
Scared me so bad I passed hot air near the fire pit, fire flamed up,
    singed my eyelashes .
Now I'm just full of hot air, mostly between the ears :D

    Same thing happened here Dave.
Might get some rain later, then snow with the coming cool down.

Here too. Got up this morning and wondered, "Where did the snow go?" Now it is 53 degrees and occasional sprinkles.

Snow on the grass thru winter is good, hope for snow now before the 0° stuff comes.
When not covered with snow , the cold freeze dries the to couple inches of soil, & the frost goes deep
Yard will be brown & dry & take longer to thaw
    Snow is good  :)

Yard looks good today, but IMO be much better if snowcovered this time of the year

Bogy I see you have your sliding board set up beside the shed for when you are not riding your bike to give you some amusement.

Usually when we're warm in the eastern/northeastern us you're cold, weird that we're warm in both places.

My Mom, in Greensburg Pa, said the same thing.
"Warm in AK usually means cold in PA "

Must be an El Niño event ? ? ?

We call it the "Pineapple express"

"Pineapple Express is a non-technical term for a meteorological phenomenon characterized by a strong and persistent flow of atmospheric moisture and associated with heavy precipitation from the waters adjacent to the Hawaiian Islands and extending to any location along the Pacific coast of North America"

Warm air from the tropics :)

I'm with you Milleo! If is wood, it gets burned! Wood to me here in South Jersey, "where I'm at" Is a precious item. With that said, we just had a couple bad storms that brought down some/many trees so the pickens are good now! But… I never take anything for granted.
