    Enjoy the day everyone. This is one of my favorite days to enjoy being with the family and eating good food. There is a fire in the stove, the house smells like pie and I am enjoying a cup of coffee.

    I will be putting the bird in the oven soon, wife made 2 pies and a cheese cake last night, did have to let the stove go cold though as it's supposed to be 60ยบ today.

    Heading to my brothers in Mass later this morning and then cooking a turkey on Friday for us to have the relaxing, less hectic side of the holiday :yes:

    About to start on the punkin' pies, some butternut squash soup for the Mrs., then the turkey breast and all the rest will be started later.

    Turkey's going in, chiminea is swept out and ready. Got oysters and clams to wash and a little bit of vodka to chill (just a little bit :cheers:). Enjoy everyone!

    Re: the thanksgiving banner. Sorry for any confusion to the Canadians, this will be the last banner that is presented to countries that don't celebrate it.
