Just imagine if his face hit the hot metal of a woodstove or the hot stovepipe. Yes you can teach but you have a responsibility to keep them two mistakes or two steps away from a disaster or life altering accident. You really can't let two and three year olds out of your sight.
Were freezing in the sister in laws house. There out of town. Keep their house 67. Were cold at that temp from the wood heat. Bumped it to 72. Tried to turn on the gas logs (city people) I can't figure the darn things out?? Turned the valve on read directions turned it to the ignition spot...hit the igniter..waited the time it said they were supposed to auto ignite. No go. Just gave up. I seriously could of started a real fire in less time than I fiddled with those things and I didnt even get a fake fire out of it !!!
yes I am, and all my suburban neighbors laugh at me as i bring in truck loads of rounds.I was warm last week when we lost power. I did not however hear their heat pumps turn on LOL

If it was just me, I'd probably just put a split on all the coals and call it a night, but I'll end up throwing in a few splits before bed. Similar to HDR, low of 43 tonight. Glad I'll be at the far end of the house.
