I'll start on these tomorrow with plans to have them stacked by the first Thursday in December.

The Cherry should be good but I'm also hoping a good amount of that Maple is too.

I'll start on the end of the Cherry (the top) once I get close to the Maple I'll pull it down with cables and the rhino if needed. 100_9386-001.JPG

Yes, the path for the Rhino is at the base of the hill so rolling these down should be easy.

I was going to wait until next spring but I decided to use part of our shoulder season wood stacking area for the Cherry.

    I'm hoping the tree I think is a Maple isn't a Hemlock.

The top of the tree is up enough where it's up over my shoulder or head high so I'll have to move down some so my bar is lower than my shoulders.

I just did the one Cherry today, 50 plus rounds waiting to be split. The second Cherry is just down from this but it's such a mess in there I'll save it for another day.

I still have some nice rounds near the base of the fi 100_9536.JPG rst Cherry that needs cutting but I'll need to bring a shovel up to dig out some dirt.
