Polaris 700 sportsman. Plenty of power, just not always enough traction.

I like this one. I dig the older Hondas too. Someday I'll have something like these.

we had a sportsman 500 at work till stolen. It was scary fast to me. I think I got to 55 or 60 and ran out of straight away!! Can't imagine those 700-1200 size. Really overkill in a utility to me?

Years ago I use to own a Yamaha Grizzly with a bigfoot package. I had to sell it to pay for repairs I needed to do on my house. :( This thread is bringing back the memories. LOL

My 1993 Yamaha Kodiak, I think it has 458 miles on it. I have put more batteries in it than tanks of fuel. Sorry about the dust and dirt...

Guido, my Father had a 96 Yamaha Big Bear with the same body style. Seeing that brings back some memories!!
That machine would go places most others wouldn't! Don't know what it was about it, but it just kept going up hills, through the mud, and in the snow!

To only have 458 miles, that thing is still brand new. Just blow the dust of and she'll shine :)

    Thanks for posting.

Those are some cool tires. I wanted to get aggressive tires for mine, then saw how much they cost, how much I ride it and how much tread on the OE style good years I have plus the fact I'm 2wd and if I get this thing stuck that either means I'm in one giant deep mud hole or in a creek or some stupid place I don't need to be at my age. When I was 16 that's a different story.

And no just cause this one is old enough for me to have at 16 I didn't. Only had it for about 2 yrs. Got a deal from a buddy who got a deal himself. Out a bit of work In it and about $100 parts including a battery.

Yes MM it's a 430, another project that needs time and money. More money than time is what keeps me from tackling it right now.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The tires, had to go look, are Sedona RipSaw R/T's and the trailer is an old U-Haul trailer that I traded a wood chipper for. Got the chipper for free, got it running and traded. My wife was POed when I traded but after a little paint the little old trailer looks a lot better. Wouldn't trade the world for it now, VERY handy.
