    Yep, "WINTER" has arrived, Snow is wet n heavy .
    With the forecast it won't melt to fast , let be gone though, suits me just fine

    Down to 17° here now, down to 5° tomorrow night, not gonna melt here,

    Forecast for 38° on Wednesday, with rain.
    That'll knock the level down & make a hard solid base , good for skiing & snow machines.

    I just hope we don't see a lot of negative zero temperatures this year, got some Hickory cookin in the box now.

    I like snow & winter, but not temps below about 10°f
    Zero & colder just no fun to go outside :shiver: then it's sit by the fire inside :fire:

    Sometimes it comes early and sometimes late. Sometimes it comes Christmas week but for sure, most years we can count on January 10 being the average date for the real cold to come in. Last year it was something like January 16 when it turned colder than a well diggers bottom. This year has seen a lot of above normal temperatures. The first 20 days of November saw 18 of them above normal. Some way above!

    By Halloween is typically our first snow.
    Was about right this year, though we had a few nice days after & it melted.

    IMO; having snow on the ground is good for the yard, garden & ground water .
