Those popped up randomly at the HD in Keene, NH last season - sold out in hours. (Curious to hear how they burn for you.)

Unfortunately, not a great day for me. Bought myself an early X-Mas gift, new bike frame a week or so ago. Took it up on the mountain today and wound up bending the frame off a jump, had to walk the bike back to my truck about 2.5 miles with rear tire in one hand and the rest of the bike in the other. Needless to say I was seeing red and not a happy camper. Looking forward to a better day tomorrow.

That sucks Steve, hope you didn't get banged up when the frame failed. I'd be bringing it back to the store, sounds like they sold you a real 'Turkey' of a frame there. .. Hope your day is better tomorrow.

Hated hitting the "Like" button - really means "Unlike" in this case. Glad you are okay though and that you will get to have more beer when you get back from picking up your kid!

For a week I have been fighting wallpaper, trying to remove it from a wall in the living room (pic taken 11/2013 before I moved in).

Parts of it were extremely easy to just tear off, but apparently they used massive glue in other parts. I've been using a painter's scraper, and although tedious, it eventually gets the job done.

Then, I started on some vodka . While letting that circulate thru the system, while monotonously scraping the wall, I got a glimmer of memory: last year I had used some sort of natural cocktail on another wall and it worked decent - and that was directly on drywall. So, instead of looking it up, I decided to try a spray bottle with 50/50 white vinegar/water with a couple drops of Dawn dish soap. damm, that worked excellent  and took me almost no time to remove the rest of the wallpaper and glue. Remembered to place some plastic on the floor to protect the hardwood too.

I need to drink more :drunk: - I have my best ideas then!

Well said G...sucks Steve but at least "your" frame is still in tact!!

What brand of bike do you ride, my wife's son likes to make his insurance company money riding a Felt (I think)?

I just cracked myself up looking at that old picture - noticed that was a vodka box sitting there. Funny part is, that was when I drank wine and the box was one I had picked up from the local liqueur store for moving boxes.

Gravity...I landed the jump fine but I think I might have had too much pre-load on the shock...you can see the bow on the top tube and the tube is crinkled in front of the shock mount.....oh well

Lugged the Revolution down to the basement with the help of three neighbors today. Hooked it up, and having a nice little test fire right now. Nice and comfy in here.

Best thing I've used is a 50/50 mix of water & fabric softener.......spray on, let soak, scrape off....works like a charm.

WWW has a box with ammo and gun stuff in it in the garage. It is a brand of beer I have never seen before but mentioned here often.
