I remember showing a house to a family the next town over. It was the first time Id shown this particular house and was impressed with the set up. There was a free standing wood stove downstairs and a beautiful insert upstairs with river rock that went all the way to the vaulted ceiling. They had both a cat and a non cat. I only remember that one of them was a napoleon. I was explaining to them the quality of the set up and how impressed I was. You know what they told me? Wood is dirty and a pain in the azz and the stoves would be the first thing to go! Not everyone is going to be impressed. If they dont want the wood chances are it has less dollar value to them as it does to you or I. Good luck on the sale!

Actually, you can play this to advantage - have your agent drop hints that are you are a little crazy. :loco:  When they see the wood, they will believe it! :bug: They will be convinced that they have a leg up on you, and are therefore getting a screaming deal on the place.;)

My natural gas bill broken down; has me paying more for the "privilege" of being connected to them vs. the amount of gas that I use and the gooberment "taxes" ....................by about 80/20%!!!!!

My last bill was $16.46.............................$2.26 was the actual cost of the natural gas that I "USED" for the 1 month billing period!!!!

wow!! thats awesome. My Sept 15 to Oct 15 bill was $35, and my Oct 15 to Nov 15 bill is $40.
we do run the NG furnace in the mornings at times and after we get home from work while the wood insert is getting up to temp and we have the dryer, range/oven, hot water, and a Weber grill hooked up as well

Rent a dump trailer and hire the local soccer team for a school donation.
