    I dropped my garbage off at the transfer station and found a pile of steel roofing in the metal dumpster. I got 25 pieces of 8' and 12'. Now that's a good morning. I see another woodshed in my future.

    Wow, I'd tried scrounging for weeks, even stopping at houses where scrap metal roofing has laid for years=Nope!

    Ended up paying 11. a piece for 8' at HD that got damaged in Wed wind---Great score man!

    That is a SWEET green box(what they call the localized collection areas here) grab! They stopped folks from taking anything from our recycle/trash collection spots. Unless you make nice chitchat with the operator, then you mite be able dive in the dumpster a little bit.
    My wife is happy they stopped allowing "repurposing" but I'm still:mad: about it:rofl: :lol:
