I decided against it, I think if I get a bigger saw I want to look for something more in the 70cc range to have more of a step up. I did buy some other stuff though, the brush cutter attachment for my string trimmer and a pole saw, both things I have on my list for

Well you have to prioritize things.
Kind of sucks when you run into a one day deal like that you have to make up your mind real fast, but you don't want to make the wrong decision, that was a really good price on that Saw though

Yeah, I've seen them run those deals a few times so chances are they will come around again. I just wish Zoro sold the bigger Makita badged Dolmars (or Dolmar badged Dolmars).

The largest bar for the 590 is 24" per the echo web site. You could easily knock out a 40"diam. tree with the 590.

Hey i have the CS-400 and CS-670 very reliable and efficient. I pull a 27" with the 670. for 325 and the 5yr warranty you cant go wrong. You might even pay for it by selling one of those huskys in your current fleet.

Who wants to put bars over 20" on a sub-4hp saw? :loco:

That's not a fun time at any price.

It might not be the fastest but when the money is right and the tool doesnt MAKE you any money then hey. What the hell. Beats a 2 man hand saw.

I think you made the right decision. Get a 70cc saw and be done with it. I really dont want anything smaller than 60cc for firewood...just to dang slow esp in stuff over 8"s. A 70cc saw is light enough to lug all day too cut with

I know you've decided against it, but I run a 346xp and 357xp together most of the time and have a 562xp. I cut a lot of wood and never feel the need or want for a larger saw.

I am not an Echo fan at all, but for $325 I might would try one if cash was tight.

Just saw the email for Cyber Monday Zoro is doing 30% off 200+ code: BLIZZARDSALE too bad the 590 appears to be the biggest saw they sell. With the coupon it comes down to just a couple bucks over $300.
