Just signed up here, I have been burning for 5 years now. Have oil as a backup but only used 25 gallons in the last 5 years. I heat with a BK Princess ultra. Hoe to keep up with new stoves and tech here.... And maybe answer some questions if i can.

Bob, you'll find that many of us on this forum also used to be on that other one. Much more friendly here; much more. Good to see you aboard and yes, we can always use help in answering questions.

Welcome, bobdog. It's good to see ya.
I like your saws, have a 'lil CS-306 myself, which is a nifty unit for limbing and such.

Thanks all for the very warm response. Something i plan to do is some stop motion video of a burn in my princess. I have an action cam that i can put on a tripod to watch; cat probe, flue temp, and stove top temp through a burn. Waiting for it to get cold enough to fill the belly of the stove for that though..... Should be cool for those that havent seen the burn process on a BK stove....

    Welcome aboard!

Most of us know what you're talking about on the other site. One of the reasons you won't find any political discussions here.

Usually the most controversial we get is whether to stack bark side up or down. :)

Sit back and enjoy the neighborhood!

Or, should we take the bark off before stacking.
    That's another bone of contention.:)
