Got the bottom wood stacks covered on Tues, had to hit the woods so I thought I'd post pics later...then Wednesdays 40 mph winds hit--- This one wasn't fazed...I have not yet covered the rail rack
Maybe you need some bricks or splits on top of them. Some of my tarps are roped down, the others are just held on by splits on top, I had to add some weight the other day because of the Wind
Yea HDRock you can see on the one stack I put the big rocks, after it was somewhat mangled...I do have some bricks, just wanted it slick and neat-I used 1.5" metal roofing screws and even bridged the space between the stacks on pallets with splits and secured them too---so much for pretty, better go with functional-gonna have a buddy help me pick them up and re-secure this weekend...I'll go with the bricks...
not surprised it did that though considering the wind we have been having, I think the wind would catch a hold of that metal, worse than a tarp
For tarps, I've used gallon water or milk jugs on a rope. Some are tied to the tarps and some have a rope with a jug on each end , then draped over the pile. I don't know how well that would work for roofing tin though. If you try the jugs, only fill them 3/4ths of the way for when it freezes. I've also used old window weights in place of the gallon jugs.

The tin takes quite a bit of weight to hold down. Mine is out of sight, so I throw uglies, blocks, long pieces, etc on top. Usually end up covering most of the tin with a layer of splits (about 5x what you've screwed into).

Ya know, if you had access to a sheet metal brake, you could form over the long edge, pop a few holes, and bungee down to the pallets(or use rope) or screw 2x's along the long edges and use them as attachment points in a similar fashion, which would offer you that clean-on-top look yer after. Edit: you may have to consider end 2x's, and one if the panels joint in the middle...

Thats a great idea-its so flexible, no brake would be required...I'm thinking pop holes, insert bungees and anchor them into 2" eyelet anchors screwed into pallet bases=Brilliant! Percs are serving you well sir!
