wildwest , if that is for pellets sticking in the hopper, it will work like a charm! If not, let me know what issue you are having.

Damm, missing 2 plus days really set me back here :picard:

I was using BTU's / gallon for efficiency numbers. Oil is somewhere around 140k btu's / gallon and propane is at about 91ki btu's / gallon. Yes, the appliance efficiency also comes into play though. But you can lose a lot of efficiency for an older heater and still pay less overall.

Wow, who the heck is doing the installation? Those are so simple to hook up and the tank is less than $1k anywhere I looked (US stores anyway). HD has one for less than $500 Vertical 275 Gal. Oil Tank-275VOT - The Home Depot. You already have the accessories needed from your old tank. Even if you replaced everything, it should still be fairly cheap.

 - I thought you already had a pad since you have an existing system.

Check out Amazon for the single serve coffees. I have found them to be the best deal and an OK cup of coffee.

I still have to talk to my contact and crunch some numbers. AFAIK, HD does not have them. Here in Canada, they are very strict on this topic. Oil spills is a big NO, NO!

That's cool it's working well for you, glad you're happy with w/ the Keurig ..

The Boss was mentioning the same the other day / we waste a fair amount of coffee here also, a machine would be well towards paying for itself in a year or so, the way we go through coffee here. I'd probably drink less coffee too..

No, it sounds like -yours- is the better idea! Same stuff, different method of application. Cool!

If you buy the K-cups at regular market price there isn't much savings. Buying from Costco or one of the other wholesalers saves some.

I see IHP mentioned amazon, I got to go check them out to see if they are around the 5.99 for 12 cups. Anything less is close to the price of making a full pot in the auto-drip and buying the bags of coffee on sale...... Love my Starbucks Sumatra

Well the hard cider bottling got done yesterday morning, today the warsh is well along. This is one of KC's days to entertain her playmate. She has the duty Tuesday and Friday along with every other Wednesday. So far the two of them have had a fun time of it. There is still a lot of kitten in her. I'm debateing on weather or not I start the mead next or do a couple of batches of ale first. Temperature considerations on the mead, my den isn't exactly up to fermentation conditions like in prior brewing seasons and it takes some time to ferment (honey is sort of self preserving). Will have to make up my mind and get the ingredients as I'm all out execept for some yeast.

I have never actually heard of an oil spill from a home fuel oil tank. Those things can take a beating and still hold all their stuff as long as they aren't tipped over. The tank we replaced (at 15 or 20 years), was replaced well before it failed - we were just moving location from behind to beside the house, with a new pad and figured it was a good time to change it out.

However, I'm not in Canada so you know better than I what is allowed in you area.
