The updated Sail switch and the larger impeller are the two cheapest mods (parts wise) and those 2 improve the flow dramatically.

If your firebox is black and sooty? Then the stove needs more air. If your damper is open all the way, the best way to achieve this, is the two parts I listed above.

If your ash is a nice grey to light grey (white'ish) then you're getting good airflow and a good burn.

Where can I get those parts? I will adjust the damper and see if this will help.

Whenever you order them through Fahrenheit. Call and ask for Matt Fitts. He will hook you up.

-EDIT- The Impeller I got through don2222

Send him a PM and he will get you squared away

Ok, thanks Dexter. I figured out that my exhaust motor has a bearing out. It wasn't to hard to figure out because it started making a lot of racket. My dad had a Spair from his st crouix. It seems to be working better and you can hardly hear it running. Anyone know where else to find a motor for it? It's $250 from Fahrenheit.

You can upgrade to the beefier 1.75amp gleason/avery motor for a lot cheaper and get the upgraded impeller for less than stock. Grab a new gasket while you're at it.

Just to throw out some extra information (I like information), not looking to upset anyone. The larger motor is the same motor that the Harman P61A uses, so anywhere that sells Harman parts will have the motor. I think even amazon sells this motor.

Google it, you might be surprised on the results. I have no idea on cost and you being in the U.S.A. gives you a world of options compare to us in Canada. Mine is manual light so no igniter:(
