    I'm going through mine faster than I can replace it. I will need to purchase more soon. I think I may have to do a grapple load to get ahead?

    So I'm right there with ya in never going to catch him.

    Hey tuneighty. Good to have you here. Ah, you may not want to encourage Scotty like that. It may go to his head and then he will end up light years ahead of us. So far ahead he will be able to make wood pellets with his rotation without having to turn it to sawdust with a machine! He already makes us look bad enough as it is. :rolleyes:

    Oh. Nice work there Scotty. Probably a good thing I don't get a lot of Oak. I can't seem to get far enough ahead to dry properly that long! :emb:

    You guys crack me up! I will say that just that pile of rounds I'm working right now will replace what I use this year and add another half year to the stacks......and I still have a huge pile of rounds sitting at the front of my garden that need processing yet! And lets not forget that heap of white oak, cherry and Norway maple that is sitting in the garden, already split and waiting to be stacked! I'll be sitting on 40-43 cord by the time I get this stuff split! SOMEBODY CALL ME A SHRINK!!!

    I just cannot bring myself to do that Dennis!!! Now if it was soft maple, poplar or something like that, yeah I'd kick it aside. .....but red or white oak, sugar maple and locust?? NO WAY, JOSÉ!!

    Dave we cut our Christmas tree down IN THE HOUSE last night.....being it was almost 11' tall and the needles were literally falling off when you walked by it, I decided It'd be easier to piece it down and top it to keep the mess contained to one spot........
