Some good sized rounds in the mix. How did the rhino do pulling that bigger one? Should yield a good amount to add to the stacks.

I had to cut it in half, the cable had some wicked stretch to it before I cut it.

I still like working with the smaller stuff, most of my firewood can be cut with a 16,18 or 20 inch bar.

If the bigger stuff is on flat ground, I don't mind cutting them but when they're on a hill it can be tough on the body.

It sure is bogydave , we didn't have much Beech down this year so this helps. We do have a chit load of Sugar Maple and Beech in the inventory.

HDRock we can never have enough, I'll be splitting this today and then we start hauling all the wood that is c & s in the woods out.

With this current cold spell we're in
I'd love to have some good Eastern hardwoods to burn
I'm suspect of the birch here being 23.6 million BTU/cord
Just don't seem as heavy as the oaks & hard maple from WV/PA I grew up with.

    House is warm though,
Maybe it's just boring to only have one wood type to burn  :)
