I noticed this 4 days ago when I was hauling out another load of Cherry, I plan on getting this before Thursday along with the top, no pic.

Should make for some nice rounds! By the looks of the color, it must have been a recent break.

I'm not sure when it happened but a Hemlock came down in a windstorm about a year ago in that area.

The top and the standing Cherry will be c & s tomorrow in the woods, not a big amount of wood but it will go nice with all the other Cherry I need to stack.

I'm hoping to stack 1.24 cord or 4 NY Face Cord with all the Cherry we have c & s.

We have a good amount c & s still in the woods from this spring.

We also have about 1 face cord of Beech that I c & s this spring, I should be close to my 25 - 28 cord when I get done cutting.

I can just imagine how your eyes surf the landscape as your ride the trails Zap, always keeping 'the potentials' in sight.
Looking good on that cherry...how tall is that trunk?

It was a great day in the woods, pic 9495 is the top of the Cherry, 9496 is after I dragged it down with the rhino, the rest are after I dropped what was standing and then cut into rounds.
