Sleeper cars always seem faster than they really are. Probably the same thing for saws. Maybe you could do an exhaust cut-out and thread a 9/16" bolt in there...remove when you want to make some noise or put down a smack-talking farm boss

Ours had one hole straight ahead, but 2 on the top (3 total) so about the same airflow. I have taken more since this pic. Used a dremel and a Tungsten bit. Just cut a huge square in the front and cut the entire portion where the 2 holes were up top.

And I cut the front holes a little as well. Opening them from the back to the tip.
Should breathe a little better :)

Pretty sure I know what you mean but post a pic if it shows up from front. I know there like little pipe set into the face of muffler.

Yep, just bore the pipe out, and I shortened the length from the inside. You can't make them to much larger, but an extra .0625" (1/16) bigger, is bigger than stock.

(Can't take a pic till later, but just take a Dremel and open the holes up and reduce the length the little pipe sticks into the muff can. That's all I did. Nothing special)

4.5 IIRC. I will do some video of this saw for sure before I get too crazy with it.

Yes I had two of them and they both lasted about 5 cuts then blew. I didn't even have time to fully adjust the fuel and air. The first one went BANG and that was it. The second knocked loudly for a second then just stopped and that was it for it too. The both snapped the piston rod in half in almost the same spot! I asked for a refund and they said no problem:thumbs: so I used the money and bought a couple quakes. I am going to order the 58cc richmond ( china ) soon though CAD I got Bad!

I'm still trying to break this one. It sounds good and has about 4 tanks on it now.

as the interests ebb n flow I been on them for close to 10 yrs. Became pretty good older omc mechanic and pretty food with cars an my tractor just don't remember that stuff. I'd still log onto I boats if I could remember my password or the admins would listen? Pop into forestry forum a few times a yr. Was at let's talk snow for my old k10 but that place dies as they give up the old iron. Still on tractorbynet but not as much now as this place. Picked up AS. Geeze
    not enough time.
