Gas Prices

While on my way home tonight I noticed that gasoline had dropped to $1.95 /gal
I haven't saw fuel under 2 bucks in a long while!

 

Glad your prices are getting better, we are still @ $3.80 gall.

 

We hovered at $1.95-1.99 for about 2 weeks, just recently went up to $2.05. I still aint complaining

 

$1.88 here today.....then I used $0.040/gallon savings on Krogers Cards points = $1.48/gal.

 

We were around $1.79ish for a while. More like $1.85 now. Part of me is unsettled about this...

 

Was $1.89 here last Friday afternoon...then they jumped it up to $1.99 before everybody got off work...dirty rats.
Of course that was better than normal, it usually jumps up $0.30-.40 at a time

 

Sam's Club here in Houston has unleaded regular for $1.68

The cheapest diesel I have seen is $2.02

 

2.09 here today.

Good and bad. People are traveling and buying gas guzzlers as fast as detroit can make them. Main product stream for us is coil to supply stamping plants. The dies a designed for specific properties and the manufacturers won't jump to Chicom steel because it destroys dies. They want all the steel we can make.

Across the road their product stream is pipe. Gas and oil is down, commie steel is hammering what's left, they are hurting.

 

2.07 is the lowest i've seen in 9 months.

Well, here goes. I guess I'm blessed where I live. They finally loosened the purse strings just a little and dropped down to $2.40 a gallon.
Last week, I had a person tell me that just over a one hour ride away, the price was $2.00....last week.

 

It averages about $2.25 around here, I don't consider that cheap. It's about what it should be.

Hey Dave... our gas is about that too here in Maine. I thought the market would tank yesterday and it went up a couple hunderd points. Don't know if those guys who yap about all that financial stuff know what they're yappin about but, most seem to think the market has girded it's loins for stuff like terrorism. We'll see.

 

SisIL said the stations in town were $2.099 yesterday...today, I filled up @1.999.
I should go fill the gas jug too. Don't need any for the saw.

Filled the cans at $1.95 this morning. The price dropped to $1.88 on the way home

 

Filled up before at $2.25 diesel was $2.67 ,

 

Lot of different taxes,

PA the highest @ 73.7¢ total/gallon , not sure what all the hidden fees are, not sure it even right.
Fed 18.4¢ on gasoline (24.4¢ 0n diesel)
Each state is different
+ there are other hidden fees, (not called taxes) you can see if you compare the 2 charts.
Example : Alaska has 8¢ + 18.4¢ = 24.4¢ = but total taxes & fees are 30.65¢ /gallon
