    Welcome to the forum Ag@heart.

Great firewood. Get all you can!

Has the EAB been at work out there yet? I don't see any of the typical holes in the wood nor bark damage on that wood yet. Here, we've been cutting ash since the borer moved in back in 2002.

No sir! I don't believe the EAB is here yet. I hope they stay away. I love Ash. It's about the best wood in my area.

Well, welcome to the best site around Ag@heart!
You must've read up on the fact that pics are as much regarded as seasoned firewood around here!
Niiiice truck, good load of ash.... And I'm not sure, but it looks like you used a 445 on that load?
    (My go to saw)
Say, on a side note- it may be hard to "tag" you with that @symbol in your screen name.... I tried and it wouldn't pop up the usual list like normal...
    Any input, Moderating on this?^^^^^
Just curious 'cos it's a handy tool....

Well, when they come, take heart that the trees can still stay standing for a long, long time. We still have plenty of standing dead ash but a couple years ago many did start falling as they tend to rot just below ground level then the root breaks and down they come. But even then, the wood will still make good firewood for many years. One more great thing about ash.

Yes that is a 445 Eric VW. Been cutting with her for 3 years now. The 18inch bar is worn out so I ordered a new 16inch for it.

Doesn't look to be a problem at all. I think it was and still is a good idea.

I run a 20" on mine all day long- no issues- not a' one:yes:
Really helpful to have the added length when cleaning up limbs and such.

My bad, I didn't do as G.A. suggested... It's all gooder. And I like your screen name as is!
