    First off, while bottling, it is sacrilege to not also be drinking. We started with trying out our Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale clone, and it was fantastic. Just over 7% and a nice smooth brown that should only get better with age. The stout is a couple weeks away from maturity.

    We bottled a "dark day" IPA which was just over 7% and 100+ IBU which is extremely hoppy for me. The second batch was a coffee porter, which was done with a basic porter recipe and 32 oz of cold steeped coffee. Should be interesting.


    I had to turn off the news, I just don't understand how people treat other people in this world.

    I'm wide awake, I worked my normal 8+ hours, stopped at Menard's, bought a new water heater for the house as mine failed the other day. I ate dinner, then got the old water heater out, then installed the new one. I had a mtn dew, and a few bourbon and cokes. I'm still wired at 1:20 am, but I've got nothing huge going on tomorrow. Just putting the boat in storage, and going out for dinner for my wife's b day which is on Monday.

    It's so good to have a regular shower again and not use the solar shower hanging very low from the shower head.

    Taking the boat to storage today. If the wood trailer was available, I would probably haul some of my hoard to my house. It's not though....

    Tonight we are going out to one of Milwaukee's best restaurants for my wife's birthday, which is on Monday.
