more maple

    Nice work. Nice load there. I'm glad you like the 362. I'm up to 2 tanks on mine. I'm gonna try and go thru 2 more tanks tomorrow on some maple as well...

    nope, there both maple's but not sure what kind.

    both are definitly maple.
    i think i missed it all ,it was fairly obvious ,may have hit something small but was careful and lucky ,i will check and mark the pieces that need to be recut.
    it has a 20'' on it and the 261 has a 16'' hopefully that combo will handle most situations

    The one that looks like an ash is Norway Maple. Once popular as yard trees, now considered invasive. It's harder than red or silver.

    Looks like you're enjoying that 362! It makes a great all-around firewood saw.

    Yeah, I was thinking Norway maple too. Love that stuff; I've had some each year for the past few years. Is the other one, red maple?
