So according to an exchange chart I found, 5.99/bag Canadian is 225/ton US oops, I may have re railed the thread
I love Canada. You know how this would go though - a van full of Beer, Chips, and Pretzels, and a bag each of Pellets to sit on..
Another 10 bags from McManus Fuels yesterday - waiting for the colder weather to sample the fine roasting goodness. (Need to get my lazy butt in gear & get some tonnage here B4 the s**w starts flying.. )
Will do, Dan. Both times I've stopped have been planned around trips out to Concord, and Durham: so the fuel costs make it worthwhile, but I know I need to plan a Pellet (and possibly Beer ) provision run -specifically- for pellets Real Soon Now. I'm helping a neighbor this week with some needed auto repair / suspension work, am going to ask to borrow their heavy-duty truck to make a "real" pellet run, if available. We'll see. I may have to bring an offering of Beer w/ the tools, to up the ante. If not, that's cool - the hitch on the Taurus is working fine, the small Utility Trailer is good-to-go, should be able to stuff a ton between the back seats, trunk, and trailer bed. (Don't really want to load it up like that though, last time I did, I blew a strut, that was an expensive pellet run.. ) Anyways, enough ranting from me, Yes - I will let 'ya know when I'm out at Henry's next run, looking forward to meeting you, shaking your hand, and saying Thanks in person: La Crete Pellets + Happy Stove = Happy Wife = Happy Life!
