Been glued to the tube watching the unfolding in Paris, next July is starting to really gel on us when we visit France/Paris. Gotta be strong in events like this so not to show fear & weakness.

Easily said but not easily done, today's reality. So, so sad.

eaton has my first reaction, but ivanhoe is right.

I wish I could wrap my head around where this world is heading-but I cant.
I wish I had answers on which way to deal with all of this-but I dont.

You have more fortitude than I do. The US isnt immune to any of this, but I dont think I would travel outside the boarders of the US and Canada

I've bought 20 gallons this season. A station down the road from me sells furnace oil/off road diesel and I've taken a couple 5 gallon cans there twice. I had a bit over 1/4 tank when I started and don't want to let it go any lower just in case something comes up.

As warm as its been, I still haven't burned any pellets. I've been letting the oil burner take the chill off. I threw a few logs in the wood burner tonight as its a bit chilly. I have just under 4 tons ready when the cold air sets in.

Yeah, this place is more fun with no heavy handed Mods shutting down a thread because it got derailed. Derailing usually means Beer (or Vodka in my case) :drunk::cheers::pete:, and sometime food :chef::grizz::stirpot::pete:. But we all have a good time!

Wow! Thought they had a new owner (webbie) there and it would lighten up. I guess not.

Yesterday I attended my LOH (Ladies of Harley) chapter meeting. It was held at a "fancy Japanese restaurant in ManchVegas. Too noisy for me, and what is up with the food throwing by the Hibachi cook? Ahh well, got in some good gabbing anyway. A bunch of us LOH'ers are going to a free intro kick-boxing class on Sunday so that should be fun.
Got home and started getting into the Vodka, and you all know what that means :drunk: - getting little projects worked on. Mundane things like scrubbing the bathroom, laundry, plant watering, gathering the trash for tomorrow's dump run got done. Also transferred all the chit from the poor defunct Patriot to the Explorer and emptied the saddlebags of the bike as it is going into storage on Sunday (boo!) :(. I'm sure I'll think of a few other things to keep me busy thru the night.

Hope y'all have a great weekend!

I could say volumes on this, but this is like preaching to the choir here. This PC stuff doesn't help. I won't knowingly be mean, but I will say what is, is.

I'd prefer a 4x4 as well, But the money is sort of out of my range in what I'd like to spend. So the AWD is the next best thing. Its got to be better than the FWD I have now. I have enough time where if its more than I think it can handle I can call in. But calling in with only a few inches on the ground and wasting good weather on them is getting old. I used 5 of the 6 I am allowed last year. I'd be happy to cut that in half if possible.

The ones I don't use is a fishing day when Joey is out of school during the summer. Every one I can save is days on the water. AKA as priceless! ;)

Took my bi-weekly trip to Walmart today and picked up 5 more bags of MWP. Price is still $4.38/$219. Drove by HD to check things out, prices there still $259 for Chow and others, $299 for Inferno Gold. One this that has changed at HD is their inventory. They've moved a lot of pellets in the last 2 weeks. They have less than half of there original inventory left.
