Just did a count on what I'll have used this past December, adding 2 bags to my total to account for the remaining 2 days left in Dec. I'll have used 41 bags.

Last year the total was 28, and in '11-'12 season it was only 23.

This isn't shaping up very well. Maybe Jan. - Feb. will fool me, but I might have to do some "adding to the stash".

    Global warming my a**

I'm into about 53-54 right now, unfortunately I didn't really keep a true count last year......though I think I burned 2.5 or so last year....

I've been using more, too but I have a hunch some of it is because of the pellets I'm burning.

-19F is our forecast for tonite! Yikes!

I only used 2-2.5 ton the last 2 seasons and I know I will use more than 2.5 this year. The new Enerzone isn't helping any. I have been playing/tinkering a lot :)

It is colder, lots more winds, ice etc. I've burned 1.5 tons. Did let the furnace run with the stove on those very cold days, and again to warm the house back up after the power was off for a few days.
We have one of the kerosene heaters going now to get the house extra warm. High probability that we may loose power again tonight.

It made -16F this morning… 68F upstairs… 74F in the living room. The stove is on #3 and the NG furnace is set @ 70F. Kinda surprised that we didn't use any NG overnight… with the versa-grate now working, and no clinker build up in the burnpot, I guess we have a few more btu's!

Ebay has them cheap and you can print them out. Also, a coworker went to customer service and told them she didn't receive her movers coupon (which she didn't) and they still honored her entire purchase.

I hope those PTL's burn as good for you as they did for me. Are they the lighter or dark colored pellets?

All my PTL ' s have been dark. 5 ton 3 years ago and I bought 10 bags from HD (Finally found more!) a couple weeks ago. These were rather dusty compared to the ton I have left from 3 yrs ago. But burned equally well, as far as ash is concerned.
Only difference, is they are 100% hardwood now. Where before they were a blend of Hardwood and Conifer. :) I actually think my older pellets (blend) are a little hotter

Just found Stove Chow for the 1st time EVER! And they burned great (must be a bottom feed thing ;)) Pot didn't have the normal clump on the right side of pot:)
