Put her in storage almost a year ago because it needed some attention. Carb rebuild, top handle and also rubber buffers were shot.....finally got around to getting her back up to par the other evening and she's barking just as loud as she ever has! Gonna plunge her into some pine this weekend!!

Nice Scotty. I just fixed a friend of mine's 041. He is about 70 and that is all he still uses. Swapped out an oil pump for him off a second parts saw he picked up.

Not the fastest saw in the shed but it has enough torque that it probably could drag a car out of a ditch......

That's the Overkill "Double Barrel" signature model. Made by that crazy Scotty character. And man, does it ever sound mean! Barks fire once in a while too!!

I think the rectangular screen on my non AV 041 has more surface area;) but it doesn't see much use with the 441 - which is WAY louder

I bet it is loud with that custom dual port!! I just love the sound of those horizontal cylinders. I love the way the 011 sounds and its higher pitched as its only a 40cc saw but it too has a lot of torque for the size saw it is!

I did the math and the size of both barrels combined is just a tad smaller than the exhaust port coming out of the cylinder!

    It's a screamer.....

Just now doing a big bore kit on my 046. Gonna make a double barrel for that too......;)

Since bills saw shop pages have been down since the summer someone refresh me on how many CC the 041 is. Is it 80ish? Goggeling now so I probably will have my answer and this is just mindless dribble but I know it will help others that are curious to post it here anyway.

    Looks like 61-72cc

I was thinking it was bigger than that? Maybe its you have a larger saw that I am thinking of? Do you have an 070 scotty? Maybe that is what I am thinking of??? Thats 80cc?

    I believe the 041 is 61cc and the 041 Super is 72cc. The 070 is 106cc.

I knew 070 wasnt right as I thought it was close to the 088 and 090( the beast) but I can't think of the number I'm those old saws that is in the 80 cc range?
