Do you guys remember those sandwich makers from the 80s? I've got a kitchen gadget that lets us switch out plates to make those awewome triangles, waffles, paninis and "grilled" foods. So I decided to make some triangles for my breakfast. Eggs and lemon poppy muffins.
I like it. Was just going to have a bowl of cereal then I realized that it was sitting on the counter. Found a muffin mix, grabbed the eggs, Bob's your uncle-- breakfast!
Cereal never holds me until lunch. Need a little more protein and I'm good until early afternoon. Eggs usually will do it.
I've got one on a long metal shaft with wooden handle made for using over fires. Makes a quick meal with no cleanup. I've made grilled cheese, ham and cheese, fruit pies for dessert. Never used it for breakfast. Now Im gonna have to add some "just add water" muffin mix to the camper food stash! Thanks!
Do you have the Diablo? An infomercial for on of those is what convinced me to get this one out a couple weeks ago.
Sounds like a cast iron Rome pie iron (pudgy pie for the Wisconsonites here). I've got a couple of them. They're awesome.
