Like It alot, but I don't believe the saw was even run enough to break it in yet. It has a DP muff cover on it and seems like it is getting stronger with every tank, I have only ran about 3 tanks through it so far myself.

Got everthing I had bucked up hauled over to my splitting and stacking area for this weekend today. Then I cut a couple of trailer loads of small diameter stuff about 8'' long for my older neighbor out the road and hauled it to him. That is how he likes it cut for his small stove, he was happy..... 20151111_092715.jpg

Hey WVhunter-just fyi-the moon went new (dark) at 10:47 am this day---always understood it is the dark of the moon that stimulates the pineal gland in the eye of the doe and triggers estrus...cool down for the weekend, finally saw a 120# class 8pt chasing does in a field this eve---still finding very few rubs and scrapes, I expect that to explode overnight....I think it's on bud---hunt all day Sat and Sun if you can...

The chasing has been on for the last 10 days or more here. Had a hot doe running through the place today several times but no buck. Been seeing lots of bucks but nothing big so far this year. Still a few nice 8 pointers and a 10 but nothing really big so far. Hope to see one Sunday on the rifle opener. Weather bad right now for hunting so will probably wait now for Sunday.

Sad news though. We just lost our best friend so I'm going to miss out on some of the opening days but we can't plan these things ahead. It would be nice if I could get that turdy pointer opening morning; that would solve the issue right away.

We do! We'd known each other since childhood. Best story though is one night we picked up a couple girls. The one he had is now my wife. We had stopped in the country and he and I took a walk. On the way back I asked him if he was doing any good and I could see that he wasn't. I suggested then we switch when we got back. We did. Ha! She slid right over to me! Been my wife now for 53 years and he was best man at our wedding. Yes, some great memories.
