Well I had completely run out of wood to process and it drove me nuts. Fixed that problem this morning with a big locust. Thing had me nervous, was big, had a lean, and rotten. As I was making my back vut it was creaking and popping, made me nervous but the hinge was right and landed perfectly. Put it right down on two stumps and barely even made a mark in the yard. Landed right next to a wood stack and had a branch take 3 splits off the top of the stack. Couldn't have asked for a better landing. Filled the back of the truck and the 14' trailer, tree didn't have many branches so this stuff will split easy. I left about 12' of the main trunk for my uncle and still brought a big load home. And hes got another locust, two cherry, and a big red oak needing to come out.
Was an easy job overall, most of the brush broke off on the fall from hitting the stumps. And was able to back the trailer right to the rounds and roll them up into the trailer. That was a heavy load for sure, could feel that one behind the truck.
bout 3 days, I wasnt sure if I was gona lose my mind Edit: Actually I can go for weeks without cutting or splitting anything but if I dont have anything at the house to work on it drives me nuts. I have a strong drive to always be doing something and like to be able to walk out back and get something done if I have a few minutes.
Yeah and I didnt know it was rotted until I was making the back cut. Theres always a sinking feeling in your gut when you figure that out midway through a cut. But it all worked out well, no damage from the fall and it didnt barberchair. was worried about that.
You dont want that nasty stuff......whats a good time for me to come out and do you the favor of taking that off of your hands? Awesome score brother.......and great job bringing it down safely!
Well got the splitter back up and running and got most of it split, didn't want to split it all cause I would be back out of work again! So I left about a half dozen rounds for another day. Then it's time to stack again!

Looks good swags....set a small pile of that close to the road for any wood hoarders that might be out meandering around, would ya huh,would ya, would ya huh huh....
