Scored a full truck load of hard maple 6 ft logs last night on craigslist. There was more than I could take. Best part is i spoke with the guy and they have 8 more 10-14" diameter hard maples and ash that they were going to cut and take to the road side where I got this. He is dropping the trees today and tomorrow and is cutting them to length. I will back in tomorrow with my trailer and within 30 minutes have some very free and convenient wood. Best score I have had lately.

So the rain kept me from getting good pictures, but I got a couple. I took home a total of 4 truckloads, and one trailer load this weekend. Three loads of hard maple in the truck, and the pics of all ash attached. Homeowner helped cut and load. Please disregard the organization of loads..... that is a 20 ft landscape trailer. There is at least one more trailer full on the ground and the owner wants me to clean out about a half acre of ash/maple/oak mix..... load 1.JPG load 2.JPG

Thank you. The cuts are awful and the logs need to be cleaned up. Working with homeowners makes it tough as they do not see the need to be neat. Regardless, I am happy this guy likes me since I now have about 75% of the 16/17 wood sitting at the house.:dex:

Evening all. Brought home another full and trailer load of ash. I have five different log piles around the yard and need to spend a weekend bucking and splitting. The homeowner walked me around today and he has at least 40 ash and maples he wants removed. Some are only 4 inches in diameter, but it's only 10 minutes from home and I can park right next to the logs. Hope you all are doing as well:dex:
