12 cord here CSS. Will add a couple more today once I get my butt in gear. Have logs bucked in the woods and a new DHT 27 ton with work table to break in. And finally low temps.
Well let's see, I think I can help here. Split up a cord or so of spruce and ash last weekend, half a cord of walnut yesterday, picked up a small load of ash (1/4 - 1/3 cord). I will take some pictures of what we have laying around at Lefty's place today and you can make a guess what is left.
I was a bit late to the party. I saw the initial posts start to accumulate but said to myself "no one is ever going to bother adding up all these..."
Me and dad average about 21 cord usage a year between the 2 of us. Something we enjoy doing together. Having a back LOG is nice as you can pick and choose during fit weather to work it up. I did cut in the Spring this year here on my place to work up the dead ash. Normally a winter deal for us.
+ 12 + 1.75 + 20 enough individual splits stacked en to end to stretch around the world AWESOMELYFANTASTICAL 2026
Now we need a thread with all the BTU ratings.. Good work all. Next time someone asks Got Wood we can just smile and say yes...
I'll say it again, or maybe for the first time... If all the non-regular, non-posters were to chime in, we'd most likely best 3000 cords, no? Another good reason for a "HEY EVERYONE" kinda #/@ tag Whata y'all thinks?
7 cords on hand ready for winter, have 3 cords that have been split at friends house gotta pick up this week , gotta cut a tree down on Saturday should get about 2 or 3 cords from it
