Leaking Cistern, How to Patch/reline/?

    And hoping we did not burn up the pump:picard:Toilets do not leak, outside faucet line valve already turned off.
    And we just blew a bundle on a new septic system:hair:

    OMG, What next? how is the roof?
    Having a cistern is all new to me. Everyone around here has a well, or is on city water if living in town. Is your cistern under the house?

    WOW are we lucky!! Sorry for the false alarm..... It was the outside faucet!! Broken line was hidden.....

    Yes Larry, 1250 gal galvanized steel tank under the house. He brings home water in a large green tank on his pickup, then it gravity feeds into cistern. From there, a jet pump feeds the house.

    But the tank is poor shape, so it will have to fixed eventually....

    Cistern- I was thinking large 4 sided open top enclosures to hold water, cement and rubble construction as that is what we had in the basemen.t Hand pump up stairs. You got one of those newfangled gizmoos.
