When I was younger dawn patrol was getting up at first light and surfing while the rest of the world is sleeping. Just me and a buddy or two. A few other guys out in the lineup. No real talking, just a nod.

Today it means up before first light and everyone else. Quick breakfast and at my dad's where a bunch of my rounds are. I will admit that I'd love to be surfing at the moment but this isn't a bad option either. Today my buddy is of a different species.

That last pic of the dog looks like a cigar would fit into it's mouth perfectly!

It looks like a good option to me! Have a little fun with the rounds and a good friend. I agree with yooperdave! I think a big ole stogey would look good on her.
Have fun Babaganoosh! Probably need to see the after pic's of your mornin's work too.

That didn't go as planned. My dad needed help with the lawn mower and then after I got back to it the rain started.

Ended up doing two front end loader bucket fulls. I really wanted to get almost all of it done.

Yup, there's locust and cherry there. A few big pieces of maple to mix with the locust next year. The IS holds a lot of wood. Can't load it up 100% with locust I don't think. Although it's got a CAT and can be choked down low.
