What's your processing setup?

    My process is cutting splitting and throw them right into the dump truck, dump them at my house and then stack. Wish I could do it all the same place but it doesn't work for me but less of a clean up I have to do at home

    You said your process included pulling into yard. What do you pull with? if a tractor with a loader ... look into Deacon set up..

    my set up sounds similar to yours.. I will build a Dray this winter and some of the pallets with hog fence. this will cut down on the restocking which I hate most!:wacky: It just seems wrong to take a perfectly stacked cord throw in trailer move it 300 yards and re-stack it again!

    I have played with that idea, the tractor we are using now is an old Ford 4000 with the FEL but it can only lift so much, 1/4 cord seems to be about the limit. The way the forks are spaced it requires a custom pallet as well making it a little more funky. I think I may work towards that kind of setup in the long run.
