    Lending her my sander for the flat surfaces. I think we'll try a wire wheel on the door. I had gooder success with that on the old Ashley door.

    So, she already has the stove body sanded and painted. I'll get pics soon. It was getting dark when I saw it, but looked like she did a good job.
    I took the door from her to use the wire wheel on it. Did most of that last night, and now it's got a slight rust again.:picard:
    I'll wipe it down with some alcohol and probably paint it today. Need to sand in the corners first.
    Plan to order a gasket and baffle "kit" today too.
    She still needs to call our local stove shop to do the flue install. I think she's in for a rude awakening when she gets that price.
