Have you ever had a pair of saws that just work well together. I know many guys take more than one saw to the timber. I would like to hear what you take and why. I think I have the perfect setup. Lol well for me at least. I have a little 192 rear handle and a dolmar 6100. They really work well together. The 6100 does the felling and bucking and any noodling of really big rounds. The 192 handles all the smaller stuff and brush and has been know to get a pinched bar out a time or two. they fit real well on the 4 wheeler

They've got some good food! I haven't checked out the one downtown yet but I'm sure it's as good as ever.

Perfect to me combo of 346 and 372. Had the 346 first and ran it with a 18" bar and it worked well for felling and bucking, felt just slightly off balanced for limbing, still nice though. A year later as my hoarding obsession grew stronger and I found myself scrounging bigger and bigger wood I picked up the 372. Ran it all summer with a 20" husky bar and put a 16" on the 346(holy crap that thing is a screamer of a limbing saw now). My birthday was Wednesday and my buddy stopped over with a gift for me,24" sugi bar and chain, totally stoked. Killer gift and completely unexpected. Haven't got a chance to try it out yet but another bud has two big standing dead cherries that I think are big enough to make that bar dissapear.
That 192 rear handle is a saw I think I would like A LOT!! Great saws! The 6100 is a beast of 60 cc saw! Nice Pretty sure I welcomed you to the family already, but welcome to FHC (again) Welcome to FHC!! That is a killer saw plan! 346xp and 372xp.. Nice
That looks like an awesome duo you have there. I bet that 24" sugi will rock on your 372. It is funny how the right bar size can really make the saw.
Thank you for having me. Ya that 192 is a cool little saw. I could brag about it a lot but I will hold back. Now that 6100 I can not say enough. That thing is just wow. I can not understand how they can even stay on the shelf at the price they are. And they really complement each other very well. The 192 cuts bigger then it's britches and the 6100 handles like a 50cc saw with a 70cc bite. I took them out today and droped a nice 20" hickory. Limbed it all up with the 192 and bucked it all up with the 6100. The whole tree was ready for loading in just under an hour and did not feel beat to death when I was done. Now hauling it in and splitting it may deserve a beer or six when done. Lol
