Well one thing seems consistent with these, the are consistently not that great year after year? Good job Dpopps!

Thank you for the review. We appreciate it very much!! How many Michigan pellets are there? I burned some in the past, But don't see them here anymore. Bag looked like this and were made in Holland. Pretty ugly IIRC, Lots of ash and low heat.
The one in your pic are the ones that have darn near run every other pellet out of my area. Each year I have hopes that they'll be better (because they are everywhere and are fairly inexpensive). Each year I find that they have achieved consistency. Consistently poor, IMO. Before those came around, I could get Somerset, Pro Pellet and AWF at the box stores consistently. Now every box store in my area carries the MI pellets. I assume they save on freight and sell them for the same price that a better pellet would go for.
Those would be the same ones I tested, I herd that last years where so bad they had to give out refunds to some people.
Must be because we have more money The only real chain supermarket in this area charges more for everything than the exact same store 15 miles away. When I asked the deli worker why the meats were all .50 per lb more than Rochester, she said that according to management its due to a higher wage demographic in this area. Yeah, Right-I told her to let them know that we are not stupid and they shouldn't insult the locals like that-its because there is no competition....period.
