    Mother nature is sending me a message-"I am giving you one final fantastic week of weather to get that roof done this year After this all bets are off !!!"

    My contractor called this morning and agreed with her-now I have to round up the $$ to pay for it :doh:

    Leaves here too. Full pass #3. The heavy rain and wind earlier in the week brought down massive amounts of leaves.

    Can't you mulch it up and skip the raking? I have a few area where they are too deep for that, but for the most part they grind up fairly well. I have a mulcher that sucks them in, grinds them up to a fine pulp that is easy to use inter areas.

    Decided to break out the 20 yr old blower ,it feels like a toy compared to the monster I lug around at the office :bug: time to hydrate :whistle:and then mow that pizz poor excuse of a lawn :emb: mostly crab grass and weeds .

    Me too being in the business ,I got tired of being a slave to my lawn when I retire I can reclaim it or Not :whistle:

    Maggie love hanging out there , she's staring over at the neighbors house because she always brings her a treat.

    Prolly should have raked today --- BUT -- with pine needles there is always tomorrow ,,, and enough tomorrows go by Linda with throw up her hands, grab her school kid helper and get it done. Course I will pay with cold stares, a mild tongue lash, and no breakfast the day after ,,, A SMALL price to pay for some extra days on the lake.

    The perch were crazy today and although we went Laker hunting we settled for a few hours of jigging some fresh water shrimp.

    gbreda -- Your 7 day forecast looks a lot like mine. It says fishing all over those numbers.
