Could not sleep. So surfing the net and watching TV.
Just cannot get the brain to shut down sometimes. Oh well.

I picked up a 04 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner this week. The oil needed to be changed and I didn't know what condition the automatic transmission was in so I started to service that.

On a side note, some how I rolled into the pan of used transmission fluid with my shop shorts, if someone would have stopped by they probably would have thought I severed my femoral artery. :(:)

Good rain Friday and back into the 80's this week. By safe everyone.:):)

Dreading heading to the shop this morning. Gotta change out the pinion seal on the rear drive axle of one of my trucks. I'll look like a monkey stuffed into a peanut jar in about 2 hours .:hair::picard:

Slept in at deer camp this am. Threw the door open to let dog out and there's 2 large does standing in the yard within bow range.
Stupid me hadn't gotten the bow out of the truck yet.

Off to the cottage to change out the door gasket on the 13. I'll end up winterizing it a bit more, put the convertible into storage and pull some food off the shelves, than back here to feed the little monsters this evening.

That is great. We pay a little extra on the principal every month to shorten the term.

One of my favorite M*A*S*H episodes is when Mildred payed off the mortgage early and sent the papers over to to Col. Potter.

A couple of more years for us, but we are picking away at it.

When I retired that was the one thing I did. I got completely out of debt. No mortgage, no car payment, no credit card bills. It does not take much money to live on if you have no debt.

Congrats you are on your way. No worrys.
