Spent the day working outside yesterday, cold and raw. Came in for the evening and the temp inside the house was 52. Fired up the stove and warmed that right up. 62 degrees this AM going to the 70's. Opened up the windows. Remnants of the hurricane.
Well It's wicked hot here again, no fire and no furnace running, suppose to go down to bout 40 tonight so quess let furnace do it's thing tonight....
Only 40 in maine? Were getting to 49 here in SC? Strange weather I guess? Y'all must have a warm front.
Burning a chill breaker in the basement with some Cherry parts and pcs. Mid 40's now with a strong cold wind that will cut through your sweatshirt, best stove draft yet this year.
43 and windy here. Burning basswood in the fireplace. That she takes the chill away, nice and warm here, about to watch some football.
Currently 43, headed down to 36 tonight. Been burning a mix of boxelder and cottonwood to keep the house at a cozy 74ish. Had our first spits of snow yesterday afternoon. Still starting a fire about every other morning once the inside temp drops to about 67ish I relight to warm everything back up. Going to hit mid 60s again the first few days next week.
Saw first snow half a week ago. It's not 48 outside, burning hemlock with some red maple mixed in for overnight burns.
