Don't mean to "like" that except to show concern... Hope the ornery one is ok, and doesn't get more ornery
I bet it feels good to get that mostly filled up, will be gooder when you're set for the winter in there. I hope you doing ok tomorrow after all that. I had a busy day today too - a little sore and tired but I'm doing good
Just "Awesome"! Sore & all the other stuff That has to make you feel pretty darn good !!!! You're getting pretty good at stacking too ! Next thing, you'll have a deer hanging
Nice work Dennis annnd judy! Glad to see you getting the wood put up in the shed out of the weather. It's a good feeling for sure
That's good news Dennis... Glad that you got it started, a little bit at a time... Hopefully your wife wakes up fine this morning, after the fall. Take care you two....
I wish I lived closer. My boy 16 and I would come give you a hand anytime. Unfortunately the drive from RI to MI is a long one at best. Keep up the great work, take it slow and easy, and take care of the wife after her fall.
Well, it was an interesting night last night for sure. I think she was in worse shape than I although I've been up since 3:00 am. Couldn't sleep. But as much as I hurt, I'm absolutely certain she hurt more than me. We'll be seeing the doctor Friday to assess her condition. Sooner if it gets worse. Thanks for the good words everyone. Yes, it is good to get that task done. On the other hand, I am one very happy camper that I was able to do it and enjoyed most of the work. Really seemed good to do that much work again and thankfully I did not have to do much walking. That is why she came back to stack up the roofing that I removed; so I would not have to walk. I can stand okay and even take a few steps without the crutches most of the time but taking those steps does take a toll. I'm hoping it will help build up the muscle though and perhaps hasten the healing a bit.
One thing I've learned in life is you can't screw anything up if you don't do anything and you can't get hurt doing the same either. Hope you'll feel better - note to all us young slackers get some wood put up
Prayers to continue.....I'm just wondering if you are not telling us the whole story given the fact you two had birthdays together.......alright we won't ask anymore about it.........shhhhhhhhh
Dennis, Glad to hear take got out and did some work, it's good for the soul. Hope the Dr. appointment goes well for the both of you!
Backwoods Savage, please keep us posted on her condition and changes.. Your both in thoughts and prayers!!
I hope you and your wife are feeling a little better today. I know the rain brings out all the aches and pains. Have a better day keep smiling
