Man it is pouring here already........ My guess is this knocks the majority of the leaves off the trees and then I get to spend 20 hours with the backpack blower lol

Cold in the 20s here this morning. Rain coming tomorrow... will be warmer. The cold and the water combo... can't be far behind. Have a good day everyone!

I hear you re the blower. Just spent two days cleaning up a dump truck load of leaves and pine needles up. Yard is all set for, first the drenching the next 2 days and then, winter. BIG job off the TO DO list............:ups::banana::rootintootin:

I need to do it again, but when most of the leaves dropped off the one big Maple in the yard, I jumped on the tractor and ran through 'em a few times.
They're in teeny-tiny little pieces now and it only took a few minutes.
Prolly take someone with more trees a bit longer, but it's gooder mulch for the lawn, and they don't blow back.

Wish I had leaves instead of those long white pine needles. With 26 mature white pines on 1 acre, they become ankle deep. Since they are chocked full of tanic acid, if you leave them they will burn your lawn down to nothing. Glad I have the tractor with the 60" mower deck and the 3ph PTO driven vac/collector system, as well as the biggest back pac blower Stihl makes. I DON'T RAKE NOTHING. I am strictly a suck and blow operator................. :thumbs::rofl:

I just watched my daughters trampoline (mini) get picked up and tumble across the back yard. Its the kind with tall poles and a mesh fence, not that light....

Yeah, got those too....all over the west side yard, and they tend to spread.
That lawn really isn't much of a lawn. I only need to cut over there every couple weeks.......maybe.

I think your dog is wondering why you're gonna' try burning those.
They don't even look like sticks..... AKA, "toys".

So after I got the new toilet fill valve installed I realized the flowmaster fill valves can actually be dissembled - found a little sand grain on the seat. Got a backup in the garage now.
new faucet in the master bath went about like any other plumbing project - create a leak, fix leak. control rod for the stopper was too long to clear back of the vanity had to cut it down a bit.
    30min project turns into 2.5hrs:headbang:

Anyone have thier turkey for Thanksgiving yet?
There are supposed to be shortages due to the avian flu wiping out millions in the upper mid-west.

Wally world had all of 6-7 turkeys in their case when I stopped to grab a few things today - hope I didn't wait too long as they already have full bore Christmas décor stacked to the ceiling
