And you sir may well be right-I was mainly referring to the absence of rubs and scrapes---very little activity down south-I personally hope the seek-chase phase lasts awhile-our mast is way down but we have it, esp beech as far as deer are concerned but the white/red oak is way down (60% below 40 yr avg) Good luck to you and yours this season!

I could have taken one tonight but only one license and waiting for a bigger one. The bucks here have been scrapping all month and several does paying lots of attention to the scrapes. The buck in front of me tonight took off when 2 does came running from the west. Caught some nice bucks on trail cam and sadly today I got some pictures of 2 bucks with broken hind legs. Maybe I can catch one?!
