Saturday me, the mrs and baby piney took a little drive through the state forest. The fall colors were beautiful. Here's a few pics i took.
Thanks for sharing. My daughter's and I were all over RI on Saturday and the colors are popping nicely. Believe we are finally at peak. Sorry no pictures other than in my minds eye. I know it didn't happen, but I was driving from one place to the next with no time for pit stops.
The maple colors are past peak here, rain and wind the past several days kinda took it over the hump.... Still have the burgundies of oak and the yellows of hickory yet.....but a lot of the maple is gone. Here's some pics from last week.... Yes, there is snow in there....the ridges had over an inch of snow last weekend, I even made my first snowball of the season!!!

Nice! Great looking country..... I love it down there. Tons of wildlife, sand, tannin filled water. Both jeep and kayak were my methods of adventure. Would love bringing the quads, but not sure of the regs. Possibly allowed with tags?
No Atv's in wharton sorry bud. We've been fighting for that for years. We can take the quads to the local bar/restaurant though! If you want to bring the family down one day we'll hit some trails, get some wings and have a bonfire at my place.
