Well my 10 minute job before watching some foot ball, was to change a tub faucet. my aforementioned to do list.. no big deal there is 2 types a set screw under neath or a twist off. have faucet no problem... Well apparently there's a third type and I had it:doh:

So the universal which fits universally nothing. So 10 minute job turned into 3 hours.. get a female half inch solder on a 3 inch piece of copper and solder on male thread... So I missed first game... I am going to my buddy house now to watch game otherwise my to do list will grow..
Wife is laughing at me ... honey go take a break you need some guy tine... So my first game of the season to watch on TV...

oh well its done and no pics cause who needs to take a pic on 10 minute job:rofl:

Went to SisIL's and helped load up an old woodstove, then we tackled some Hawthorns that are like someone's really bad nightmare. Growing way too close together, and man those spikes'll kill ya'.
Lots more to do, but I had to go stitch up all my cuts and punctures. JK, but they're nasty little bastages.

Those two are in the dictionary next to the term......"Happy Camper".
    Or, was it, "Serial Killers".
    I forget now.

Did no work today. Felt good to relax a bit. But. I now have to go down and take the exhaust/chimney pipe off between the boiler and outside chimney and give it a cleaning. Then re-install and give a new re-seal with new pipe cement. Better get the old clothes on for this.

on par with what crazy chit are you gonna do in the next month:
GF wants her sister to move a camper on the property permanently - yeah that 15-20k for a well&septic grows on trees:whistle:

drive 4hrs south to her daughter's Halloween party so I can rev a chainsaw in coveralls and a hockey mask in front of grandkids - so they get scared truly chitless :zip:

Cut 3 more loads of plutonium today. Finally got brave enough to take another section off a tri-fork hedge. This section was 25" where it met the main trunk. Just had to think slow and keep my feet and mind clear and it came down easy. Another couple loads of it still out there.

There. That is a good job done. That section is cleaned, the plug at the bottom of the outside chimney is cleaned out and everything is back together. New cement on inside exhaust pipe and now I'm just waiting for it to dry.

There is some kind of Murphy's law that actually guarantees that a quick 10 minute plumbing job will take 3 hours!:hair:
